PRONOIA
PRONOIA is a place that invites you to disconnect from the noise of daily life and enjoy the simple things that life has to offer. It is a place where you don’t have to run, there is no rush or cheap distractions. This is a place that invites people to move in a different way.t
Here time runs differently.
PRONOIA is a theatre surrounded by nature, which imposes itself and generates a particular atmosphere. We live in nature, we are conscious of it, and we also feel it is important to share.
This is also why words are insufficient to describe the place’s geography precisely. Across from the house we have the Caribbean Sea, which gives us every morning the sunrise, and is also where the moon settles. Where we find much abundance, is the 2nd largest coral reef in the world, a few meters you can find all kinds of underwater life, corals, plants, manta rays, fish, etc... an
infinite world that invites both to play, as to discover. While the back borders the jungle, with an imposing green in which the most beautiful sunsets hide.
A separate mention takes our friend “the night”, because thanks to being in a remote location there is no light pollution, so the nights where the moon does not fill us with its light, we can see shooting stars, stars, constellations, stars, and some other distant galaxy.

THE HOUSE
The house is located in the residential neighborhood of El Placer, 25km from the city of Mahahual.
We have a private beach, but being a residential neighborhood the beaches are almost empty, which helps the contact with nature. The mixture of different ingredients, sea, beach, stars, jungle, values, make it a unique place to organize memorable events in front of the beautiful shores of the Caribbean Sea.
It is ideal for the organization of retreats, weddings, business seminars, celebrations and parties. In addition to a beautiful place to vacation.
The main room of the house is a spacious living room, with large windows overlooking the sea, which open onto a large wooden deck in front of the sandy beach.
The property has 7 bedrooms, 3 on the first floor of the main house, and 4 cottages. In addition to a large garden with parking.
The place also offers two spacious kitchens, and the possibility of making a one-off Menu either for corporate events, or a conscious menu for retreats or ceremonies.
All the rooms and spaces of the house are modular, you can organize the furniture as you prefer for each event.

LITTLE HISTORY
As its name indicates, PRONOIA is a beach house, but for us it means much more than that. This is a space created by our own hands. We are two brothers who received a structure that was in very bad condition, that had been abandoned for years, and in which no one wanted to invest, but when you look at it from a different perspective, it’s a place to shine, despite all the work that needs to be done.
That’s how we started this adventure, some might think we didn’t have the best resources for this odyssey, we didn’t have a lot of money, or experience in construction or tourism. But in return, if we had patience, time, a deep desire to learn and an opportunity we didn’t want to miss, that led us to create a space that we are
proud to share.
